    Getting TO/AROUND: I can't stress this enough: DON'T DRIVE IN BOSTON. Take the T (trolley/subway). There are only 4 main lines (red, blue, green, orange) and it only costs $1.00USD to ride.

    Most of the streets in Boston were paved according to cowpaths, and not modern urban planning like Manhattan. The drivers are ruthless (aka Ma$$holes), streets are not very well marked, and the recently completed Central Artery Project (Big Dig) has a long way to go before it's REALLY completed.

    Please please please take the T.
