Getting TO/AROUND: Canal Bus is a nice way to see Amsterdam if you have limited time. There are many stops located throughout the city with great locations. You are allowed to get on and off for the entire day, actually until noon the following day. You can choose from 3 different lines all clearly marked. You can combine a must see canal trip with transportation around town.

Getting TO/AROUND: Tram it around Amsterdam. Get a strippentarken at the tobacco shop and you are on your way. The days of the free ride are over! Get in at the back where the conductor is and have them stamp your ticket. Tell them where you are going and they will stamp your ticket. There are other options available for multiple days at the VVV

Getting TO/AROUND: From the airport to Amsterdam or just for a daytrip...the trains are a great way to get around. You can use self service ticket machines in Centraal Station or go to the cashier window. The fares to other cities worth visiting are very reasonable. The timetables are great with trains running frequently. A good, inexpensive, reliable way to see the rest of the country

'Mode': AROUND

Getting TO/AROUND: A nice, almost mandatory way to see Amsterdam. Join everyone else to see Amsterdam from a different point of view. It's great to cruise the canals at relax as you pass by all the great architecture in the city. Not much more than 8 euro. Nice at night when the bridges are lit
