Restaurant Name: Alfonso's
Great portions at great prices. Very friendly service and excellent guacamole. Most seating is in the back. Great neighborhood to wander through after dinner. Coffeeshop Stixx right across the street.
Favorite Dish: Chicken Chimichenga (sp?). It's Mexican with just a bit of a different. They use lots of chicken too.

Restaurant Name: Cafe Bern
A totally local experience, Cafe Bern requires reservations as the small restaurants fills up every night. Great prices! The Fondue is perfect. It is almost intoxicating. The service is...well, Dutch. Cash only.
Favorite Dish: Cheese Fondue with lots of bread.

Keep a red, blurry eye open for tosties at the coffeeshops. A great, cheap option to keep you fueled up. A Dutch grilled cheese...only better.
