I'm kinda sorta an international wanderer who prefers people watching and meandering the back streets of historic cities to just about anything. While you are queuing to see the obvious tourist site, I am sitting across the plaza, beer or wine in hand, watching the queue and wondering if I might not be in the better place, seeing something far more compelling.

Favorite recent trip took the wee ones to Paris for 10 days in April, 2004 where we rented an apartment just off Place St. Michel (a stone's throw from Notre Dame). The kids (ages 6/6/8/15) loved the trip!...Check out my Paris Travel Page for specifics.

In June, 2005, I solo triped Brussels, St. Petersburg, Copenhagen, Budapest, Prague and Vienna...which was pretty much to check them all out for a potential family trip in 2007. Plan now focusing on beautiful Budapest.
