I spent about 8 nights in Ashanti's hostel in Capetown. There were loads to do in Capetown, with all the services of a modern city, including cheap e-mail (R10 per hour in some places!). Some of the highlights of Capetown were: hiking up Table Mountain, V&A Waterfront, Two Oceans Aquarium, Robben Island, Camps Bay, Company Gardens, and trip to Cape Point and Boulder Beach.
I was fortunate to meet some cool people in Capetown. The people I hung around most with were Ben from Wales; and Chris and Tess from UK. We did a few things together, and just about each night was spent with them in the hostel bar.
