Eldoret is the fouth biggest town in Kenya after Nairobi, Nukuru and Kisumu. It is about a three hour drive from Nairobi. It has all the things that you need including some nice restaurants, good supermarkets and cheap internet much less than those in smaller towns. It is well worth going to Eldoret if you are staying in kenya for a long time as it is easily assesible.
