Welcome to my homepage Hi there! On 22 April 1500, portuguese navigator Pedro Alvares Cabral landed at Porto Seguro on the coast of the State of Bahia. This date is celebrated as the day of the discovery of the country that was to be called BRAZIL, due to a flame-colored wood - pau-brasil- found along the coastline. Covering an area of over 8.5 milion square kilometers, Brazil is the world's fifth largest country! Europeans, spanish, germans, italian and principally portuguese mixed with descendants of African slaves, Brazilian indians and asiatic immigrants make up is current population of 140 milion. My grandparents are japanese immigrants and came here before the First World War. I love to travel so I've visited almost all states of my country. My last vacation was in Europe, where I could visit some nice countries like: The Netherlands Luxembourg Belgium Germany France Italy Lichestein Switzerland Spain Portugal I hope you enjoy seeing my photos!
