San Francisco has long been my favorite city in the United States. Not only is it a very beautiful city in a great setting, but there are many things to do and see. As somewhat of a history buff, I find much to fascinate me here. |

|  | Unfortunately, although I love the city - and have relatives living in nearby Vallejo, Walnut Creek, and Alamo not to mention a couple of hours south in San Luis Obisbo - I don't get to visit this city as often as I would like. My last visit to The City By The Bay from Albuquerque was for a stamp collector's convention in May/June 1997. During that trip, I actually ran into my sister and brother-in-law (from the Kansas City area) near the entrance to Fisherman's Wharf!!
I'll have to return for a longer stay sometime in the near future! |
2003 AIRPORT LAYOVER In June 2003, I had a 6-hour layover at the San Francisco International Airport (SFO) while enroute to Beijing, China. I was very impressed with the brand-new International Terminal and will include soon include a few tips about it. |
