Plaza de Mayo is the main and most famous square of Buenos Aires. Very important historical facts happened there, and still nowadays is the chosen place for manifestations. This square saw the birth of "Madres de Plaza de Mayo", an organization that searchs missing people during militar dictatorship, and fights for true and justice. This organization began at '70s. La Plaza de Mayo es la plaza más importante y famosa de Buenos Aires. Hechos históricos muy importantes ocurrieron en ella, y aún hoy día es el lugar elegido para manifestaciones.
Esta plaza vio el nacimiento de "Madres de Plaza de Mayo", una organización que busca personas desaparecidas durante la dictadura militar, y lucha por verdad y justicia; esta organización comenzó a mediados de los '70s.

Another remarkable building: Torre de los Ingleses (Tower of English), close to Retiro Station. The tower was a present that the English residents gave to the city, to commemorate the centenary of Revolution of May. Otro edificio destacado: Torre de los Ingleses, cerca de la Estación Retiro.
La torre fue un presente que hicieron los residentes ingleses para conmemorar el centenario de la Revolución de Mayo.

The Russian Orthodox Church is a beautiful building situated in San Telmo, close to Lezama Park. This church was inaugurated in 1904. La Iglesia Ortodoxa Rusa es un hermoso edificio en San Telmo, cerca del Parque Lezama. Esta iglesia fue inaugurada en 1904.

Palermo is a very nice park, situated at the homonym district. Close to the park are the arboretum and the zoo. As you can see in the picture, this park has a lake; if you want to have arms pains, you can rent one of these rowing boats.
Palermo es un precioso parque, situado en el barrio homónimo. Cerca del parque se encuentran el Zoológico y el Jardín Botánico. Como pueden ver en la foto, el parque tiene un lago; si quieren tener dolor de brazos, pueden alquilar uno de esos botecitos de romos.
