If you like walks on long sandy white beaches, Ustka is your kind of place!

Besides being a major summer beach town, it is also a fishing port. The boats come in every day with their catch. You can have a nice halibut steak dinner for two at the harbor with drinks for about $ 32.00. That's what we paid in November 2006. The prices probably are more in the high summer season.

Unlike Southern California, Costa del Sol in Spain & other beach areas, the Baltic Coast of Poland is still very rural with farmland going right up to the beach. No freeways, just little black-top roads leading to smal towns like Ustka. Off this main street in Ustka we bought 5 amber braceletts for $ 1.75 each! If you like nature, nice beaches, & small towns, come to the Baltic Seashore in Poland!
