This city has started its history from about BC5 century. The history of this city is very old. In 13th century, "Gen" the name of the country this city was changed the name of city from Seikyo to Shenyang. The first emperor Nurhachi set the metoropolitan here in 1625. and the this city's name has changed again, but Juntei moved the metoropolitan from here to Beiging in 1644. And then this city called "Mukden" second city in China. So Japanese called "Mukuden" in Japanese "Houten". In 19th century and the beginning of 20th century, this city were sacrificed during the war by Russian and Japanese imperialism. This city is the biggest city in the northeast area of China. And the city played a role of the center of the area. The city's weather is typcal continental weather, so in winter it is very cold and dry, and in summer average 24 celsuis.
