Kokyo (Imperial Palace), Tokyo This is one of several entrances to the Grounds of the Imperial Palace in Tokyo. The Gardens are open to the public on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursday, and is quite peaceful and not overly crowded like some other parks in the Tokyo area. There is too much to say about this home city of mine, so I'll begin with the central symbol and location of the city. Tokyo is Rose's hometown - intermittently since 1970, continuously since 1990-2000 (but I can still throw stones off the balcony over the river of my current domicile and hit Tokyo Met. so I'm literally at the edge of Tokyo even until today!) |
