"A wonderful port city! YOKOHAMA" Yokohama by RoseAmano

I would like to explain Yokohama city. What is YOKOHAMA for me in one word.
Firstly historical city.
Secondly international city.
Thirdly economic city.
Finally lovely city.
I was born in Yokohama city in 1965. In those days, that surprising economic growth of Japan was just beginning. And Yokohama is one of the economic contribution city in Japan.
But Yokohama port has opened in 1859 (Edo period). It has grown up as a international port. It is a very historical city. And still now, it continues.
My impression of Yokohama was not only beautiful port city but also various industrial city.
In so-called YOKOHAMA MINATO MIRAI district, there was one of the biggest ship factory in Japan.
I felt like economic wealth was realized over the years.
And over 3 million people live in Yokohama, still now.
Yokohama is not as big as Tokyo metro. I think Yokohama is always conscious of Tokyo.
I have a lot of memory of this city, So I love this city. Junichi.
