El cadáver estaba en la bañera. Boca arriba en la bañera. Desnudo boca arriba es mucho más desnudo que desnudo boca abajo. Boca arriba todo queda mucho mas expuesto. Terrible, sin afeitar y grotesco. Boca abajo hubiera sido mejor. Hubiera sido más tolerable.

No... Hubiera sido igual.

Viernes por la noche. Sola con el cadáver, porque cadáver no es compañía. Y en viernes. Tenían que pasar el sábado y el domingo completos para pedir ayuda. El lunes por la mañana alguien se encargaría.

Natalia as "Valentina" in "Mi Gorda Bella"

CONGRATULATIONS NATALIA STREIGNARD!!!

She just won the INTE Television Award as BEST ACTRESS in Ibero-América (that is: from Mexico -that is in North America-, going down through Central America, crossing the Panama chanel, and the whole South America... from Venezuela on the top, to Brazil to the right, to Argentina on the bottom. Aaaaaand Portugal and Spain. Those are A LOT of countries!!!).

She received this award on Nov, 19th, 2004, in Miami, Florida, for her role as "Valentina Villanueva" in the soap opera "Mi Gorda Bella" (which got the Best Soap Opera of the Yeat INTE award).

In the picture is Natalia (disguized as "Valentina") with the award. Here in Venezuela we couldent be happier and prouder!!!

WE LOVE YOU, NATALIA!!! Thank you sooo much!!!

"Amores Públicos" de Ricardo Tirado

"AMORES PUBLICOS" (Public Love Affaires)

Is the latest book of Ricardo Tirado, a very famous venezuelan television executive, producer, etc. He directed, supervised and bought t.v. series and shows during the 80s, and part of the 90's in order to give t.v. viewers not "what they wanted to see", but "what they deserved to see: always something better". Thanks to him we got to see the most extraordinary brasilian soap operas, the super excelent programation of the BBC, RAI and Televisión Española, and hundreds of "t.v-theaters" (plays in tv) were done by local actors and actresses. Also he produced four of the most important and remembered series in Venezuela (and with so little budget): "Ifigenia", "Doña Perfecta", "La Dueña" and "El hombre de hierro".

The first time I met him, when we were introduced, the first thing I said to him was:
-THANK YOU.
-Heh..hello...
-THANK YOU.
-Why?
-For making me the t.v.viewer that I am. For giving me always the best television, the one that I've never imagined...
(He blushed...)

Now here is his latest book. A tribute to 34 or our greatest actresses, actors, singers, directors, show people. A book full of love.

And guess who has the honour of presenting it officialy in February?...

Me.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
