Kitesurfing!
Adriatic has some truly great spots for Windsurfing, Kitesurfing and what's the newest water gliding invention? Those people are very creative!
Famous location is Bol - island Brac. Well ... if you love crowds, loud music, steep prices, you sure will love this place.
And in case the wind is not right for windsurfing some day (notice the word Wind in the name Windsurfing), you can climb the church tower using your fingers and feet. I saw this on TV so it must be true. TV knows everything. I’m just not sure is this like open for general public sort of activity, or you need to pay something to the vicar, do they make you sign "on my own responsibility" peace of paper and pay in advance for the cleanup - I'm sure local pubs are the best place to find out.
The "true" watersports freaks will rather choose Viganj on Peljesac peninsula. It's like a community there, the camp is almost entirely populated by young people with admirable postures and interesting hairdos.
The winds there in the channel between Peljesac and island Korcula are excellent for Windsurfing and Kitesurfing. We were passing through that channel slowly (speed limit) but there was so many colorful fast moving people zooming around us, it was almost scary! Yep, one guy almost crashed into our boat! He probably thought that just because he's a cool dude we're going to change the course of our boat!
Next place where I saw many impressive athletic postures trapped in sexy wetsuits carrying things for windsurfing is Punat on the island Krk.
Excellent for beginners -the bay is almost like a lake, you can't get blown away, good winds, and if there’s no wind you can keep your muscles toned and adrenaline level appropriately high on the Ski-lift.

Rafting on Cetina
Cetina river is running through beautiful landscape, guarded by rocky mountains but softly nested in luscious green foliage.
The lower part of the stream, below Electric Plant Kraljevac Zadvarje is just perfect for rafting - the flow is almost completely controlled by plant's turbines, there's just enough speed, turns and small waterfalls to make your heart beat faster, plenty of wonderful sights to take your breath away during 3 hours of your great adventure
The rafting tours are guided by experienced local skippers, and are safe enough even for children, I'd say from the age 5 up.
In some areas, your skipper will tell you where you can swim in that crystal clear water, or he will stage a "fight" or race with another raft.
But when he tells you to sit, hold, bend down or pedal - you better obey! It’s not a water-park ride operated and pulled by invisible motors, no breaks and emergency exits. It's a real thing - you will enjoy getting just a little bit tired, feeling your muscles and heartbeat.
The price evolves around 25 Euros per person, our agency Slap had great discounts for families and the price included transfer from anywhere between Split and Makarska to the starting point under Slime and back “home” from Radmanove Mlinice.
Also - this agency obviously had the longest route, the service was incredibly friendly and they give you neoprene trousers to save your delicate arrears.
We had the most wonderful time, and we shall certainly do this again, maybe even one more demanding "canyoning" adventure which takes place on the upper Cetina stream, above the electric plant. Simply because it was great and we want more!
