Dolphins were always my favorite animals. All those stories, legends and scientific research were capturing my imagination for decades, and yet I was stunned breathless when they appeared by our boat minutes after we realized we're in trouble, drifting with no land in sight. A sigh of relief, they must have heard us, they knew what was going on and were swimming right by our boat, directing us to the right - where the invisible coast of Montenegro was.
Their appearance gave us a sign that everything will be all right, and in the end we were not only rescued but also blessed with new amazing experience and new friendships. |
