Springfield is a medium sized college town located in the bible belt.
Our biggest tourist attraction is that we have the biggest Bass Pro Shop in the world. Everyone who comes to Springfield must take their picture with the stuffed bear! Springfield has beautiful trails and parks, but enjoy them in the spring and fall because in the winter it is freezing and the summer is extremely hot!
Springfield is also has the second highest ratio of restaurants per capita. There is always somewhere to eat. Usually the best restaurants are the smaller non-franchise ones.I have been to most restaurants in town and the ones I haven't been to yet I am currently working on. I love to eat out, food is so important to me.
