I only spent a few days in Zimbabwe to make the requisite visit to the famous Victoria Falls en route to Johannesburg. We also made a visit to Hwange National Park for a game drive.

I am jealous of all these travels. I was invited to Uganda but a member here on VT but really can't afford it. After seeing these pages though it would be amazing to see these places!!!
Zimbabwe must have been an interesting place to visit, even if only for a short time. Your photo of Victoria Falls and the description of what it was like when you were there were very interesting.
Yes, once you have seen lots of game close up, it is hard to be satisfied with less! At least you saw Zimbabwe when it was still a vibrant and functioning country! I never had the chance to really look around this former gem in great detail myself.
