Backpacking through Spain
Spain. A beautiful country. Before the summer of 2003 I had been there several times with my parents. I had seen Mallorca, the Canary Islands, the Costa Brava and Bracelona. But when a friend of mine told me she wanted to go to Spain that summer, alone, I didn't need another minute to think. Though I just came back from Italy I offered her immediately to accompany her, and a week after we were in Barcelona.
It was the first time for me that I made a trip which you could reasonably call 'backpacking'. And I enjoyed every minute of it!
In ten days we visited Barcelona, Madrid and Caceres. Both me and my friend knew people in Spain, so we where able to visit them. Plus all the wonderful things we had seen... is was a great vacation!
