A wonderful place full of Art and History. We live very close to this town. Mike works here a lot. People in Philly drive like...there is no tomorrow, period. If you are brave, use bus, subway, train. We park and pay and pay and pay. (If you live there and know free places to park near Center City, please, email me!)
- Pros:ART, HISTORY, MUSIC, THEATER, HISTORY
- Cons:Traffic, smell of exhaust fumes from mucho traffic.
- In a nutshell:Fun is expensive, driving is exciting, get a map!

Great Philly tips! Park on Walnut Street - if you get there when parking resumes at about 6:20, there are lots of spaces and it's free. No help in the daytime though!

Great insider tips. I would have loved a cruise on the Delaware..didn't have time. I always have to visit H/rock.. just for a pin:-) I think I had better become an eagles fan!!
If there's a Panthers-Eagles game there and I have tickets, I'm not going to be intimidated from wearing the teal blue and black. They had better not mess with me.

I'll be down in Philly next week ( I think) I'm going to the "please touch" museum even if I have to go alone! I don't care if it's for kids, I have always wanted to go!! Good tips! I think it's hard to build a philly page, there's so much to do & see.
Thanks to many American films we see in England Philadelphia is very familiar,now i seen the pictures too very nice and smart city..
The east coast is one of the places I really want to go, but for some inexplicable reason, have never been to.
