Welcome to Buxton NC. Located near Frisco & Hatteras, toward to bottom of the outer banks. This is a rather remote portion of the outer banks barrier islands. There is plenty to do here, beach of course, all water sports you could think of, tours by airplane, chopper, parasailing, OH Yeah there is plenty of fishing, lots of fishin'! The Cape Hatteras has been relocated here in Buxton along the coast, take a walk up the 256 steps to the top for some great views of the real Outer Banks of NC. Come check it out and see for your self.
- Pros:Great beaches and fishing, quiet!
- Cons:not much to do, not much around
- In a nutshell:If you love the beach & fishing at it's best, this is your place!
