St. Simons Island is a beautiful place on the southeast coast of Georgia. This wonderful little island has plenty to keep you busy during your stay. This island is just ten minutes from Jekyll Island. Lots of historical sites to visit here. Plenty of beach too.

The park is my mental escape; when life is too much, I close my eyes go to park bench, watch kids, see lighthouse, pier and beach and smell ocean-ahh! Eugenia Price and her island stories are a must-read to personalize the cemetary at Christ's Church!
I agree that Eugenia Price's books are "must reads" and your tips on Saint Simons Island are must reads too.
This is my favorite place in the US. Before going, Eugenia Price's books are a must read.
Nicely done tips on St. Simon's! The island was my refuge when goinf to the Federal Law Enforcement Center in Brunswick. Would bike down most weekends.
Ahhhh, that long beach LOOKS nice, but hard sand and strong currents - uh, oh. Great page.
No worries - no direct hits since 1964. We are VERY well protected on St. Simons from tropical weather! :)
