Out for a Saturday bike ride on Wilmingtons waterfront, great day for a ride with a good view of Wilmington from the waterfront. Plenty of new places to eat along the waterfront too.

Rodney Square, Wilmington Delaware. Recently spruced up, the square in our city holds events, and people eat lunch, and read books on sunny benches.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Pretty, old, not too busy to enjoy, easy to come and go.
Cons:Whole city closes Sunday (except river front).
In a nutshell:Lots of history, shopping, restaurants.

I agree 100%. We had a horrible meal there tonight but the people drinking around us were having a great time. Fun place but avoid the food.

hey ! just stoping by your page to read about delaware ... is that warning true ? or a joke ? "We go in the day time..." there is a picture of a crime scene .. just curious . i only ever saw that stuff in movies . if thats real , then jeez .. creeeeepy

Interesting that Wilmington now has a River Walk. (I liked the one in San Antonio, Texas, if that is any help.) Nice idea to include a tip on the public library.
