Having just come back from getting screwed over at Niagara Falls' Marine Land, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Ontario Place probably has the best entertainment value for your dollar that I have ever been to. That's high-praise coming from me, because I find most amusement parks to be total rip-offs.
Once you pay the admission (about $60 for two adults and a kid) almost everything is free. You don't have to worry about where to buy tickets for rides, or having to shell out $5 here and $10 there... it's just all inclusive.
There is a section that has a variety of really good kids rides, like mini-bumper boats, a small ferris wheel, go-carts, a free-fall ride, etc. There is also a fantastic splash park that includes some of the highest water slides I've ever seen. Then, on the other side of the park are some fun rides and attractions for bigger kids. The H20 climbers are huge, and the Wilderness Adventure ride got high marks from my daughter.
Everyone left happy and exhausted. I highly recommend Ontario Place as a good place to spend an entire day!
