I liked it so much, I had to come back

Live From Vegas!
Well, not really, but it was nice to come back for a second visit.

First Trip: - February 2001
I had to go here for a week on a training course. Based on Vegas' reputation I was pretty sure I would hate this touristy, seedy city. Within a few hours, however, I was caught up in the magic that leaves people wondering where their money went, and when they can come back.

I stayed at the MGM Grand Hotel for a few days, and then the Hawthorne Suites just across the street.
On a Sunday I walked the entire length of the strip, and then took one of the little buses back. It took me about 8 hours to walk about 2 miles.

But it was a beautiful day to take pictures, and I had my good camera with me, so I have now posted just some of the pictures that were taken during that walk.

Second Trip - June 2005

My wife decided that she would like to see Vegas. She's not a gambler, but wanted to see some shows and the spectacle that is Vegas.
So off we went.
We stayed at the Luxor and saw 3 big shows in 3 nights. Without much gambling we came home physically and financially spent.

Pros:"Lots to see and do!"
Cons:"You can't cross the street without spending $20+"
In A Nutshell:"It's Vegas, you HAVE to see it"
