I have flown into and out of Newfoundland no less than 20 times between 1999 and 2005. Every trip was a business trip to St. John's, which means I had very little time to get outside of the city to see the Province.
It's not exactly a small province, either.
On one trip in 2004 I was able to get a free half-day before my flight left the following morning. A co-worker and I hopped into our rental car and sped off to Cape Spear, located just outside the city of St. John's. |

Nice weather of cape spear! When i was at cape spear in nov 2005, it was fogged out but it was still a significant place worth visiting :) |
