I make no excuse for my social, political beliefs, however I except criticism, and I'm always up for debate. Why am I posting this? Because I feel any outlet in which you can get people thinking (whether they agree or not) is a positive one. I believe in civil rights and freedoms, and believe everyone is entitled to them. I am not Anti-American, I've enjoyed every vist to the U.S.A., and believe that it is a great country. I am in great opposition to "elected" (and I use that term loosely) President, George W. Bush.

One aspect of study I was always interested in is History and Politics, and their correlation. Anyway, while working on an essay I came across apparently, a famous quote, written by a prisoner in the Nazi Concentration Camp Dachau. I feel that it's important to keep this quote in mind, especially with the laws that are either in passing, or in debate in North America (i.e. Patriots Bill). Freedom of Though and Speech are such an important part of our society, no government (or tyranny) should have the right to tear those rights away from us. i'll leave the quote here, and hopefully you'll find it as inspiring as I have.

"In Germany, the Nazis first came for the communists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew.
