UPDATE July 2007
Am now booked to go out to Africa for 2 months next year (Oct/Nov 2008) on 2 consecutive volunteering projects. I'll be teaching in Ghana for a month in October, then down to South Africa exploring before 2 weeks working on a Lion Park
Very excited - but a long time to go yet. ~~~ OK, I'm now officially well behind with getting tips up. Went to Scotland in June. Will get my finger out and get my pages up to date. I've been busy doing a spot of genealogy and tracing my family has overtaken my VT pages - on a positive note I'm back to the late 1700s with my family history :o)
~~~ Still got a few Peak District to do from last year inc: Ladybower reservoir, Castleton, Winnats Pass, Marquis of Granby, Snake Pass..... ~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1700miles in a VW Campervan If you've an interest in Germany or VW Campervans then have a read of my Germany and Holland travelogue for the 1700-mile road trip I did in June 2004 in a campervan................. in brief we were going there to visit Autostadt and the VW museum and to go to a German VW show so we turned it into a 10-day trip, arriving in and departing from Amsterdam and visiting places such as the Harz Mountains. See seperate pages for tips as follows: Amsterdam Germany ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Travels for the future Most years I go to the Venice Carnival
Hopefully some time soon it'll be Trans-Mongolion Express Moscow - Beijing, Southern Germany, Tomatina in Valencia, Rome & Pisa. Nothings booked yet but it's a vagueplan.
