The Starting Place Anchorage is the place we call home, I've lived here since the fifties, when all that was paved was the main drag, and my husband came her in the late 60's with the military. After many years of roaming we ended up right back here. We love to travel, as you can tell, but we also love this place. I'm so enthusiastic about Anchorage and Alaska, I spent six years serving on our local Convention and Visitors bureau board. What you'll find here are our very favorite places. Places which are a little out of the way, drives we love to take and sights that shouldn't be missed. A great resource for everything Alaska is alaska.org |
