Luggage And Bags: I don't know what type of bags or luggage you should bring, although I would recommend if you are checking your bags, to buy a color other than black, because having to look carefully at EACH black suitcase because they ALL look like mine, is one of my biggest pet peeves. I have started tying a little ribbon around the handle of it.... so that helps!
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: As the title reads, "if you don't like the weather in New England,....wait a minute!" because it can be hot and sunny one day, and cold and rainy the next.... so pack for all types of weather!!
Photo Equipment: Digital camera if you have one, and scan the pictures into your VT website to show everyone what Boston looks like!!!
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: There isn't camping in Boston, obviously, but if you're here for a while and want to do that, there's great places up North about an hour away, in New Hampshire.
For Beaches, again, the city beaches are not recommended by me,.... however, go a bit north or south of the city and there are beautiful beaches. Ipswitch/Gloucester area up north are great, and Duxbury/Marshfield/Cape Cod beaches in the South.....
