Hello, and welcome to my page. My name is Susanne, but I go by La Canchita here, and among some friends. I am currently a student in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. My major is Political Science and my minor is Spanish. I am "hoping" to get my degree finished in the next year or so (depending on how summer and spring go....). I have been in school for a long time, and this I blame on the travel bug that seems to forever be bitting.
I started school years ago and after the first semester I moved to Venezuela for 4 months. It was an experience I will never forget (I will have a Venezuela page up shortly).
I came back to Canada and returned to my studies, only to leave a year later, this time to Guatemala for 6 months. That too was an amazing experience.
In both places I have seemed to leave a piece of my heart and as a result the inevitable return is forever on my mind.
My latest trip was this past Christmas. I went backpacking thru Costa Rica and Guatemala with a friend. Most of the pics currently on my page here are from this trip. I do have a web page with many pics from Venezuela and my living in Guatemala, feel free to ask for the address.
