  • Name of Shop: There're alot in Grandbazaar and Egyptian Bazaar..

Carpet shops are located usually at Grandbazaar and Egyptian Bazaar... Carpet sellers can be annoying most of the time, because they insist alot to sell you sth.. If you're not interested to buy anything don't enter the shop. They'll tell you that they'll just show you the carpets but later will insist alot to buy one and will give you an huge headache!! 8)))

What To Buy: Turkish carpets are very famous... The very important property of them is they're all hand made.. So every carpet is different from the other and they all have their own stories..
You can find every kind of carpet and kilim with oriental designs on them..
I live in Italy, here there are carpet sellers.. But for my home I wanna take my carpets from Istanbul. They're cheaper and lotsa model to see.. Silk carpets are worth to look at!

What To Pay: It really depends on the carpets' size, region, quality, antique value... Difficult to tell a prize.. But there are Hollywood stars who comes to take carpets from Turkey and also normal earning people.. You'll find one suitable for your budget. ;))
