Burj Al Arab

I had the opportunity of staying in the Burg Al Arab for 2 nights. My first surprise was when they sent 4 Silver Seraph Rolls Royces to collect a party of 8 people from the airport. They also have a helicopter and if you look closely at the picture you will see the landing pad. Inside the suite the living room had a huge lounge area with a dining table to seat four people the suite also had a private bar counter with a bar stool. If l wanted to invite guests l had a luxury guest toilet and if l was there on business l also had in the suite a business centre with a desk, a laptop, a printer and fax machine and data port. A spiral staircase leads to the bedroom with king size bed-luxury bathroom with jacuzzi and dressing room and views to die for. A plasma screen was positioned in the living room and the remote control turned it on and also opened and closed the curtains. I counted 15 phones in the suite as well as mirrors everywhere. In fact l actually wanted to stay there for a least a week to discover all the delights, and that was my room only.

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:You need to be really rich to stay in the Burg
  • Cons:Tacky gold mirrors everywhere...
  • In a nutshell:Dubai is wonderful for a weekend
