The northest harbour town

Kemi is known in Finland of two things: Museum icebreaker Sampo and Snowcastle which, of course, must be build again and again.

And lighthouses are important statues to all who love sea and travelling. This one is Kemi 1, it is build on 1975. The light level of Kemi One is 25 meters and the range is 10,2 nM.

Extrem for sure!!!! lol! Don't think I'll be trying this in a hurry. I grew up 5 minutes walk to the beach & learned to surf in much warmer water. See my North Haven page. Cheers mate!
