Richmond Travel Guide: 276 reviews and 888 photos
There are many nice places to visit in Richmond. Royal Botanic Gardens (aka: Kew Gardens) (inc Queen Charlotte's
Cottage in Kew Gardens), Hampton Court Palace, Garrick's Temple to Shakespeare, Marble Hill House, Richmond Park, Orange Tree Theatre, The Museum of Rugby and Twickenham Stadium Tours
.
The bars and restaurants along the Thames make Richmond the place to be in the summer...
You can stay and watch the locals pass by, or take a walk along the Thames. There are many walks and cycle paths, and the open space of Richmond Park in less than 1km away.
- Pros:Such a nice relaxed atmospher, and the River
- Cons:Can be a little too busy on a warm day
- In a nutshell:Come and enjoy a drink by the river!

Cafe Mamma was good and has now moved to Kew Road... Not tried the new venue yet!
Great Richmond tips- will revisit with them in mind!
It looks very relaxing!! I would love to visit.
What a great picture of the river - fantastic colors!!
Good memories of standing outside the White Cross and Slug & Lettuce on a hot summers day. Or alternatively being there at a particularly high tide watching the cars parked on the riverside getting flooded (maybe you should add another warning).
Greetings from Madeira Island! Very nice page!
Lovely pics from Richmond. They bring back loads of memories while going to school there. :)
Wow, the summer looks very promising here, as long as it’s not raining.
