Oh dear, my home page is 6 years outdated. I guess I'll get round to editing this at some point, but reading the below after all these years do bring back fond memories of my younger, more gung-ho days. I still enjoy travelling, if I can take the time off work and even then, they are short trips out, none of the massive backpacking projects of past. And while I may zip in for a safe touristy tour to Tibet or track down a conservation restored villa to stay in Shanghai or Penang as opposed to faceless hotel chains, my cold water or shared bathroom days are soooo over. Ha, age does do things to people...like enjoying little luxuries. Anyway, Im leaving my younger self's words as below:

I've been very lucky to have backpacked and lived in various countries.

Travel snapshots in my brain:
- Resided in Hong Kong & New York City
- Tokyo & the shower in the snow
- Morocco & the memorable night train fr hell
- Spain & Semana Santa & hot chocolate
- Turkey & the marriage proposal fr the nice stranger
- Europe, Britain (i can go on, but it'll never end...but highlights include french people are actually nice, the elusive highland cow in Scotland & the only all-male nude sunbathing beach in England)
-Asian cities eg. Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan

To all those kind souls who left comments in my pages, thank you. And i notice many VTers have this clause against stealing photos. For me, hell, if you think my photos are actually good enough to use, whatever you please, as long as you let me know they're appreciated.
