Coco Coqueto CLOSED!: Don't miss the fresh exotic fruit juices

It is a family restaurant.. about 10 tables, very small but very friendly. There is nice latin music playing while you eat the Colombian plates.

They also have breakfast that look good and cheap.

Favorite Dish: The fruit juices are really worth it, an they are cheap 2,50$ for a wide glass. We took apetizers for 2, a mix of meat, potatoes, vegetables with spicy salsa, miam :D They have around 10 different plates to choose from. What we ate , Tonjebj and me, was really good.. But i can't recall the names of the plates. I had beef in sauce with rice, salad and baked bananas :D
Feel free and try something different!

El Zaziummm: GRRRR Will you be able to eat the MONSTER!!!! El Zaziummm Review

This is a funky kind of restaurant. You have to go there in group, much more ambiance and party feeling that way. You have to get reservations to get a "funky" table, it could be a bath, a table with sand, or any other decorations. They sell various type of food, its a mix between californian cuisine and mexican cuisine. They have big and tasty sandwiches with different kind of meats and garniture inside, like the Monstre. It's a enormous sandwich that if you finish your plate (accompagnied with fries and salad) you get a t-shirt written I've been able to eat the Monster at El Zaziumm ;) They also sell a small Monster (I was able to finish that one and I was more than full!!!) Chicken breast grilled with avocado, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, etc with a large portion of home made fries!!! MIAM!

They also sell fajitas and other classical mexican foods. Everything looks good and tasty and the prices are pretty easy on the wallet. It's a rather small restaurant and so the quality of the food is very high.

Favorite Dish: I really recommand this restaurant for 4 people and up. We were 3 and the noise of the big table beside was ruinning a bit our "fun". It's a bit loudy, so it's better to be more and make your own party ;)

Chez Gatsé: Tibetan food, so exotic!

This is a very small restaurant in a basement on Ontario street just west from St Denis street. You enter another world where everything is calm, slow and meditative. There is just a few dishes that never change (not since I went the first time 4 or 5 years ago). The prices are very cheap and you leave with a stomach full! The Menu is 8.50$ and the Yeti Menu (Big degustation of their major dish in one plate) is 12.95$.

Favorite Dish: I tried almost all of them and I still prefer the Momo, the ones with cheese in it. A Momo is a dough cooked in steam that is stuffed with either meat, veggies or cheese. There are other plates either vegetarian or with meat. Everything is good, but I always go back to the Momo. Simply Delicious!

This is a very nice restaurant with great service and food. There is a few around the island of Montreal. But I have been in the one on Mc Gill College.

Favorite Dish: I took the Cappelini florentine.. pasta with spinach, mushrooms and pine nuts.. miam! My friend took the Chicken penne.. I am going to take that one next time :D

I went back and took the Chicken Penne it wasn't too good... We went on a Saturday lunch and it was so so. The pasta's where not cooked enough. And the ambiance was out. I really prefered during the evening with my friend Lisa, ex vter Liestef.

We had a shrimp soup, some dumplings with peanut sauce, a curry chiken with wite rice and some noddles with shrimps, a glass of wine each and a fruit deserts with fresh coco and ice cream :D MIAM!! 3 Amigos: THE MEXICAN in town

This is a very nice restaurant to go out either with friends or the kids. The ambience is like a party. You have large drinks of Daiquiri(lemon, strawberry, etc.) these are really good and refreshing, they cost aroud 4-5$can. (they sell some without alcohol)
The plates are big and very tasty.
I recommend that you take one apetizer for more than 2 people and than take one main meal each.. and it won't be easy to finish it all.. (unless you have a big appetite)

Favorite Dish: The tortillas are great. It comes with 5-6 tortillas, different salsas and some chiken or whatever you want with cooked veggies.. miam you make yourself the tortillas :D
the chimichangas are good too.
Everything I tried there is delicious. Follow your appetite and you won't be deceived!
