Steep steps leading up to Bellver Castle
As you can see from the photo, you will have to negotiate a lot of steps if you decide to tour Bellver Castle. These particular steps lead up to the castle itself from the parking area.
Inside the castle, if you decide to tour the roof and battlements, there are even more steps to climb. The castle and city views are certainly worth the effort if you are in shape to do so but I would be careful if you have any heart, respiratory or ambulatory problems, especially during the hot summer months.
