    Looks like a wonderful adventure Matt!! You have some excellent shots of the local people! Ah, I just love the Amazon... it's certainly the part of Brazil that amazed me the most. Went piranha fishing in the Amazon of Peru - it was a great fun :)

    Wow!! You've captured some Fanatastic photos here Mateo!! If I went Alligator spotting at night I'd be sure not to hang over the boat! Piranhas too! What amazing adventure!

    Excellent pictures. It is a very special place, with water levels difference of 10 meters, a floating home must be practical.

    Good page on one of my fav spots on Earth... i'll have to go to the Brazilian Amazon some day. It sure looks different then the Peruvian one... the river looks huge at that point!
