    could be very long.
    12 kms in Tabriz Iran
    and 10 kms in Aleppo Syria!
    you will find many souks inside the main one such like:
    Gold souk, Silk souk, Material Souk, and so...

     Once we fought wars over differing religions, and plundered Gold and treasure, now fight wars over differing religions and we plunder oil. Nice to see how far civilisation has come on in 800 years. Interesting page Firas.
