Sex shops are a typical fun shops in Amsterdam, I've got the impression Amsterdam was the sex capital LOL
if you enter you should warn the owner you are just getting in to watch, it is better, even if he will answer: Yes, and maybe you could find something! LOL

Don't be afraid of wlaking and searching for a hotel, if you prefer to go to the Hotel info offices, and if you are ready to lose 10 to 15 Euros, then go!
but be sure you can find good hotels in the centre, and Amsterdam is not the kind of the cities where it has problems with Hotels!

As you can see it is not just an empty shop, it is one of those hot vetrines of the red light district, the red zone is lightless at the day, and it is empty, but if you look good you will see the red light switshed off on the top of some vetrines!

Some people were not satisfied at all from their visit to the sex museum, I heared some English tourists saying: Oh it is just for sick people, well you can think whatever you want, but I guess it worth a visit just to have an idea, you could discover some good ideas, and vice versa!

There are days when the sun shines generously in Holland, but if you are willing to go in the winter, you must be ready for a cloudy weather, to make ideal pictures is better in a summer beautiful day, but unfortunately we can't have always the right occasion, when we want and when we can is a different thing!
