Off The Beaten Path: The Power of Life
  • Tip Rating:
  • The Power of Life:
    TIME: spring
    PLACE: our street square
    SUBJECT: a young tree!
Dr.Firas’s Lynx Eyes: Today I walked beside that tree in an ally very near to our flat in our street.
I watched Neighbors and people who were walking beside that tree without paying attention of the great wisdom, which was offered.
They were looking everywhere and sometimes to the direction of that tree without noticing, as if the tree was transparent.
I was about to shout and yelling:“ People can’t you see…?”
“Why you’re not opening your eyes a little bit.
Is it so hard to feel the life and be close to the nature we left?”
“It’s giving us wisdom for free; all it demands is to have seconds just to look with the eyes of our hearts.”
This tree was stronger than any Block or stone or cement or even metal.
It destroyed the metal cage, which was coating the tree.
The roots pushed and moved the Blocks out of the street up.
And the stone Dock was under the pressure of the growing strength until they get broken.
I said to myself: “this is the wonderful power of life… stronger than anything”!

Off The Beaten Path: Who is the Cat?
  • Tip Rating:
  • Aleppo - Pascale my French Friend

  • Pascale and her cat in Aleppo.
I don't know who is the cat between them!
I had 12 cats one day and here's the interesting story:
    Once upon a time …
    Chapter one: Lena!!!
All began that I had a female cat I called her Lena..
She lived between our street and our flat…
As you know how independent cats are…
Then she got pregnant and we had 4 gorgeous Kitty’s …
Well we thought there’s a male between the 4 and what do you think ….all of them were females.
Never mind our Lena died in an accident…
But we thought her 4 kitty’s are our responsibility.
    Chapter 2: 12 Kitty’s!!!
Well they all growled up and what’r you know…
They all in March got pregnant ..
Each of the 4 cats had 3 Kitty’s but this time there were 3 Males…
As the hot summer strikes the town our Kitchen backyard started to smells bad because of there Kakies…
So were the large number of fly’s…
    Chapter 3: Dad is Mad!!!
My daddy reached a difficult status
He faced me hard with the facts:
Son it’s either me or these cats here…!!!
So I couldn’t Negotiate long of course…and I gathered all the big family except 2 males : “Simba” and “Johnny” !!!
I putted the 10 cats in the trunk and drive far and kissed them with the tears in my eyes and left them near a garbage yard….
    Chapter 4: The 2 devils:
Yep… they growled up but very soon they left us in chase for their Basic instinct …
I thought they should come back as they loved me and I always played and kissed and gave them food…but a cat is a cat especially when it’s a male!
