Nightlife Spot: SkyBar
This is the nightclub/bar at the Mondrian Hotel. You gain instant access for you and some guests to the SkyBar with your room key in hand. Good Luck getting in otherwise. This is a place where you are almost guarenteed to see a celebrity. All of the stars come here to relax and have some drinks. TRUST me, just go and see for yourself.

Nightlife Spot: Las Palmas
This is a great place for an upscale atmosphere with plenty of beautiful people. Get there early or it will be almost impossible to get in. Mixed crowd, dress to impress, expensive.

Nightlife Spot: Club 1650
This is a staight up live music fun house. Call ahead of time to see whats going on. Had a blast here in Dec 2002. Saw a bunch of great rock bands and hip hop artists.

Nightlife Spot: The House of Blues
The World famous Hollywood House of Blues on Sunset Strip is a must stop for anyone who loves live music. The crowd is totally mixed and you have to check out what type of music will be played for optimum enjoyment before going. The prices are reasonable and the energy is top notch.

Nightlife Spot: The Viper Room
The Viper Room is almost as notorius as it is a must stop for any visitor coming to Los Angeles. I have been there many times and have enjoyd both the live bands and the DJ spinning music. This is Johnny Depp's place and you can be sure of a good time if you come on one of there theme nights. Check it out and you won't be disappointed.

Nightlife Spot: Red Rock Bar
This is a great bar to hang out at during the day. It is located right on Sunset Strip. This is a typical neighbohood bar and very casual. Pop in for a few drinks during the afternoon if you walking on Sunset.

This is a great lounge and a great place to relax and have some drinks with your freinds or mate. I love the vibe and atmosphere here. Drinks are resonable and you can usually see a celebrity hanging out and chilling. Check it out if you can, you won't be disappointed.

I had an absolute blast at this place when I went with some Hollywood players. It is nearly impossible to get into especially on a night where they are holding a private party, which can be any night. If you can get in, then you will have a blast and probably see some celebrities. GOOD LUCK!

Nightlife Spot: Highlands
This has become one of my favorite party spots as of late. This place has it's best night on Saturday and is filled with a great mix of people. There are plenty of hidden rooms and little areas to have some privacy or you can go to the main dance floor and get down until 3 am...definetly a hot spot and worth checking out if your in LA. Also, ask about the bar and resteraunt upstairs...it's a little more intimate but the music is just as good. Also for the smokers, there are huge balconies all over to catch a quick smoke.

Nightlife Spot: Troubadour
I went to this place over the weekend and had a blast. The drinks are tiny for the price but the place was great. The atmosphere is chill and the place itself has a lot of history with some of the greatest bands ever having played here. I got to go up to the VIP section and hang out with the bands too. It was a great night and a great spot to check out some good music live. Try it out.
