Almost all of the shopping malls are located very close to each other. For examples; Center Point Bandar Utama, One Utama, The Curve, Ikea and Ikano, Cineleisure. And many more! I can't possibly list them all, unless I'm one of those mall addicts.

Damansara is very close to Bangsar and Hartamas. Where most of the night spots are.

Once upon a time, this place was very quiet. Everything started after the town municipal, MPPJ then, MBPJ now, granted the permission to build Uptown Hawkers, right in the squares of shoplots in Damansara Utama. Uptown became the hub for everyone to hang out and eat. Open 24/7, you can drop by at any time and still find something to eat.

There used to be a lot of stalls in front of Uptown selling all kind of things, from t-shirts, to fresh flowers, and poisonous pets, to used soft toys. Just name it, and you can find it in Uptown! It became almost like a night market. But after many objections from the residents from the surrounding areas due to noise pollution, etc, the night market was relocated to somewhere in Kota Damansara.
