Palmas Del Mar in Humacao - Humacao

This was our home base on the trip to Puerto Rico. Hey free lodging from my brother's work associate - can't beat that.

We stayed at the Palmas Del Mar community in Humacao. It's primarily a residential and beach and golf resort so people can escape from the "big city" San Juan.

The beaches are some of the best on the island especially on the northern part of Candelero Beach.

Frommer's website has a separate section on Palmas Del Mar rather than lumping it in with Humacao.
