As one can probably tell from the pictures, I love the beach. Lucky for me, in Oceanside I lived steps from the beach so photo ops presented themselves frequently.
I love the beach and in Oceanside this was the extent of my sightseeing. So, although my travel pages are a bit lackluster, I loved my time in Oceanside "veging" seaside.
My beach apartment was so small that only one person could fit in the bathroom at a time(and still a tight fit) and my only closet was a small space where the refrigerator once sat. But, I had a panoramic view of the beach and ocean. I loved it and would not have left it for a mansion anywhere else. So why did I leave, good question.
- Pros:Mild weather, scenic, nice people
- Cons:Winter fashion is not needed
- In a nutshell:Every day is a sunny day in southern CA

Nothing beats an oceanside view... where I am now, I really miss the ocean and beach. Obviously popular there with the surfers. Lovely spot.
