Reveal your ancient mysteries to me

by AndreSTGT - last update: May 29, 2004

Taj Mahal, Agra
I visited India with a friend of mine crossing the Wagah border from Pakistan.
After paying a visit to the Golden Temple in Amritsar, we went to Delhi and Agra, then spent 3 weeks in Rajasthan and finished our trip in Bombay.
Backpacking India is probably one the greatest challenges, but it gives you the opportunity to see a country which is like no other place on earth and despite of all the hassles and frustration i LOVED it.

Pros:"If you haven't seen India you haven't seen the world"
Cons:"The ridiculously high entrance fees for non-Indians"
In A Nutshell:"Everything is possible in India"

Nice pages on India!Agreed the prices for Non Indians are ridiculous, but then places of interest in hampi and Amritsar have no fees at all!So it gets balanced.
