I visited India with a friend of mine crossing the Wagah border from Pakistan. After paying a visit to the Golden Temple in Amritsar, we went to Delhi and Agra, then spent 3 weeks in Rajasthan and finished our trip in Bombay. Backpacking India is probably one the greatest challenges, but it gives you the opportunity to see a country which is like no other place on earth and despite of all the hassles and frustration i LOVED it.

Ranjit | mallyak Thu Nov 29, 2007 08:04 UTC Nice pages on India!Agreed the prices for Non Indians are ridiculous, but then places of interest in hampi and Amritsar have no fees at all!So it gets balanced. | ellielou Wed Oct 25, 2006 01:43 UTC good overview...interesting, and maybe, just a bit overwhelming.
