Nightlife Spot: Les mille et une nuits
One of the great contributions of the Arabian culture to the world are chicha-cafés, and Paris has plenty of them. But while in the Arab world these cafés are usually reserved for men, the clientele in Paris (except for Belleville) tends to be mixed. These cafés are some of the cosiest places you could imagine with cushions on the floor for complete relaxation. 'Les milles et une nuits' is my personal favorite, it's small and very friendly. A waterpipe costs 5€ and they have several flavors. And don't miss their 'thé à la menthe'. Delicious!
