The 'traiteurs asiatiques' that can be found all over Paris are basic restaurants where you can fill up on Dim Sum, Sushi or Vietnamese nems without spending a fortune. Don't excpect culinary pleasures, but they're usually good value. Other good places for starving, but broke travelers are Arabian snack stalls that offer inexpensive Falafels or 'sandwichs grecs'.
