This the view I alwas wanted to see since I was a child. Knowing the view from the old Western movies with John Wayne and "Back to the Future III", I was absolutely astonished to see this magical scenery with my own eyes. Un-be-lie-va-ble!!!!
This is the most famous view: The Mittens and Merrick Butte |
Navajo territory Monument Valley is a small part of the nearly 16 million acre Navajo Reservation. The tranquility of the land, culture and tradition is fascinating. The pollution-free environment is amazing. The changing colours of the valley are splendid. We spent only half a day here, certainly not enough to see everything, but enough to get impressed by the scenery. |
